A 56-Year-old Vivian Opoku Kyeremeh, Principal Midwifery Officer at the Dumasua Community- Based Health Planning Services (CHPs) was adjudged the most outstanding Staff of the Ghana Health Service in this year’s Ghana Health Service Excellence awards.
Madam Vivian Opoku attributed the award to her 34 years of hardworking and commitment to duty despite working in a rural community.
According to her most of her colleagues are working in the cities which she is not worried about.
Presenting the award to the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Evans Kusi Boadum, madam Vivian Opoku promised to relent on her toes but the awards would serve as a motivation to continue working hard and share her experiences with others.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Evans Kusi Boadum said that such achievements should be celebrated in the Municipality. He congratulated her on her achievement and urge others to emulate her and work hard which one day they would also be recognized.
For her prize, Madam Vivian Opoku Kyeremeh took home a brand-new salon car and other items.
