The Sunyani West Municipal Assembly on Saturday, 20th December 2025, successfully embarked on a clean-up exercise at Nsoatre as part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental cleanliness and public health within the municipality.
Addressing residents after the exercise, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kwasi Asante-Boateng (Esq.), commended the people of Nsoatre for their active participation and commitment to maintaining a clean environment. He urged citizens to make cleanliness a daily responsibility, emphasizing that proper sanitation is essential in preventing the outbreak of diseases.
The MCE further expressed appreciation to all stakeholders who took part in the exercise and extended special gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana for initiating and supporting this laudable nationwide clean-up initiative.
The Assembly also remains committed to fostering a healthy and clean municipality and encourages all communities to continue supporting such environmental sanitation programmes.
