The Sunyani West Municipal Assembly has held its 2024 fourth quarter Municipal Planning and Coordinating Unit meeting (MPCU) on Thursday, 19th December, 2024.
The meting brought together heads of various Departments, Agencies and Units of the Assembly to present and discuss progress of implementation of projects and programmes across all sectors of the Municipality.
In the opening remarks, Madam Bertha Adu Koranteng, Deputy Director who chaired meeting welcomed members to the meeting and commended the collaboration exhibited by the various departments toward the development of the Municipality.
She added that the MPCU was the engine of the Assembly and therefore urged the various departments to continue to give out their best for the betterment of the Sunyani West Municipal Assembly.
The Municipal Development Planning Officer, Madam Gladys Ali Bawiah led the members in the discussion of the 2024 Annual progress report, update on the Draft Medium Term Development Plan (MDTP) and discussion on preparation Medium Term Developmet Plan (MDTP) 2026-2029.
The various departments presented progress of work within the quarter and the plans for the next quarter.
