The Sunyani West Municipal Assembly on Wednesday 29th January 2025 held its first general staff meeting of the year at the Municipal Assembly Hall.
The meeting which was well attended by the staff was to bring all staff together for discussions and deliberations towards the betterment of the Assembly.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Gordon Domayele said the event serves as an opportunity for staff to meet management to interact and discuss issues affecting the Assembly.
The MCD admonished staff to be professional in their duties as required of the service. He advised the staff refrain from coming to work late and closing before time. According to him, such an attitude will not be tolerated and an effective check would be in place to ensure staff report to work on time and work effectively.
He reminded staff of their mandate as Civil Servants and urged them to strive to maintain neutral stance on political issues and avoiding any actions or statements that could be perceived as partisan.
He urged the staff to submit their appraisals on time as it was a management tool used in assessing and achieving key performance areas for staff.
He admonished staff of the Assembly to know what is expected of them and work towards them.
The meeting provided platform for staff to seeks clarifications on issues bordering them.
The Municipal Human Resource Manager, Mr. Ameyaw Hinneh Amframfo on behalf of the Coordinating director expressed gratitude to all staff for attending the meeting.
