REPORT ON COMMISSIONING OF 3 UNIT CLASSROOMBLOCK AT FIAPRE T.I AHMADIYYA CHPS COMPOUND AT FIAPRE ZONGO

The Sunyani West Municipal Assembly on Monday, 31st October commissioned and handed over a newly constructed projects to two Institutions for use, all at Fiapre.
The project includes 3-unit classroom block for T.I Ahmadiyya Junior High School at Fiapre and Community Health Planning Services (CHPS) also at Fiapre Zongo.
The scope of work of the Classroom block included Office for Headteacher, staff common room, store room, Teachers tables and chairs and 100 No. mom desks whiles that of the CHPS Compound also included consulting room, Out Patients Department (OPD), 2 Rest rooms and 2 wash rooms
The classroom block was constructed by M/S Rexford Enterprise with sum of GH₵ 321,161.00 funding source from the DACF-RFG and the CHPS compound also by M/S Przyeric Technologies/ M/S Ye Obi De Yie Nakwass Ventures with the sum of GH₵179,983.30 with founding source from DACF-RFG
The Municipal Chief Executive. Hon. Evans Kusi Boadum in his address said the projects was in line with government agenda to provide quality education at various stages of the educational level and to enhance access to healthcare.
The MCE appealed to the beneficiary institutions school to ensure and practice good maintenance of the new classroom block so that it can last longer.
He admonished that his vision is to complete every single project he will start before his tenure of office and was glad to have completed his first two projects in office as MCE.
Professor Kyem Amponsah II, Chief of Fiapre expressed gratitude to the government and the Assembly for the project and the numerous projects scattered in the area.
He pledged his wiliness to co-operate with the Assembly and other stakeholders to help develop the community.
According to him, his vision is to make Fiapre the largest educational hub in the Bono region.
He used the opportunity to advised parents to seek the welfare of their children and enrolled them in school as well.
